For this tutorial, we'll be editing with ImageEdit and four photos that are available with your Envato subscription.
How to remove blemishes using AI
Instead of manually sampling areas, ImageEdit can be your AI blemish remover. This tool can spot blemishes and fill them in with realistic skin texture sampled from surrounding areas. The AI tool understands skin tone, texture, and even subtle lighting variations, ensuring the patch is virtually undetectable.
For this part, we’ll be using this portrait, which is available with your Envato subscription.
Step 1
If you’re working with your own photo, click Upload Image. Then select the image you want to edit with AI.
Step 2
Choose the AI photo Erase tool from the left menu.
Step 3
Select a brush size appropriate for the blemish you want to remove. Click and drag the brush over the spots you want to erase. Make sure to completely cover what you want to remove.
Step 4
In the provided text field, clearly describe what you want the AI to erase. In this case, I wanted to erase the glitter and replace it with bare skin.
Step 5
Choose the option that you're satisfied with, click Keep, and Download the image.
How to remove wrinkles using an AI wrinkle remover
Wrinkles happen naturally, but sometimes, for a particular aesthetic or for commercial purposes, we need a smoother texture. Let's go over the steps to erase wrinkles from this photo using the AI wrinkle remover.
Step 1
Select the image you want to edit with AI using Envato ImageEdit.
Step 2
Click the AI Erase tool from the left menu.
Step 3
Select a brush size appropriate for the object you want to remove. Click and drag the brush over the wrinkles you want to erase. Make sure to completely cover what you want to remove.
Step 4
In the text field, describe what you want the AI to erase and replace. In this example, I wanted to erase the crease and replace it with smooth fabric.
Step 5
Choose the option that you like the most, click Keep, and Download the cleaned image.
How to remove a tattoo from a photo using AI
Beyond facial features, AI's capabilities extend to removing objects or distractions from an image. In this section, we'll be using ImageEdit as an AI tattoo removal tool with this portrait.
Step 1
Select the image you want to edit with AI using Envato ImageEdit.
Step 2
Click the AI Erase tool from the left menu.
Step 3
Select a brush size appropriate for the details you want to remove. Click and drag the brush over the tattoos, completely covering what you want to erase.
Step 4
In the description box, write what you want the AI to erase. In this case, I wanted to remove the model's tattoos, so I used the smallest brush size to cover the area properly.
Step 5
Choose the option that you like the most, click Keep, and Download the cleaned image. And that's how easy it is to use this AI tattoo removal feature.
How to remove stray hairs using AI
Stray hairs, flyaways, or unruly strands can be incredibly frustrating for photographers and retouchers. Manually painting them out is a painstaking process, but ImageEdit provides a much more efficient solution.
We'll be using this photo for this section.
Step 1
Select the image you want to edit with AI using Envato ImageEdit.
Step 2
Click the AI Erase tool from the left menu.
Step 3
Select a brush size appropriate for the details you want to remove. Click and drag the brush over the stray hairs.
Step 4
In the description box, write what you want the AI to erase. In this case, I wanted to remove a part of the model's hairdo.
Step 5
Choose the option that you like the most, click Keep, and Download the final image.
